Our favourite is the juicy fruit scent, but they are all great.This will be our go to wax for years to come and makes the perfect gift for any hockey player.Our youth hockey team has every possible type of stick wax on the market and this brand is everyone’s go to.

I have used many different hockey waxes over the years (Mr. Zogs, Howies and now Sniper Sauce). The Sniper Sauce wax is excellent, it provides a tacky grip, and I did not notice any snow or ice buildup after putting this wax through the paces in my first game. The scent reminds me of a refreshing pina colada, but I abided by the rules on the back of the tin and did not taste test it. I think one of the features that sets this apart from the others is the screw top lid, which keeps the wax fresh, and also ensures it doesn’t accidently open in your bag and make a mess. Mr. Zogs is wrapped in plastic, and Howies comes with a tin, but it is not screw top. I also liked the fact that it comes with a variety of different phrases or sayings imprinted on the top, and most importantly, they are based out of Canada! They also have a lot of other scents that set them apart from the competition (juicy fruit, monkey farts, classy sasquatch, cotton candy etc.). Overall, great value for a non-toxic, environmentally friendly and no paraffin wax.

I’ve been using this wax for a few weeks now, and I love that it’s made with all-natural ingredients — no harsh chemicals, just a clean, subtle smell.Performance-wise, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It keeps the snow and ice buildup off my blade during outdoor games, and the puck control has noticeably improved. The grip feels tacky without being sticky, and it helps me get that perfect feel for the puck whether I’m passing, shooting, or stickhandling.

I bought this wax for my son to use. It is a great product and very comparable to other premium stick wax. I like the fun graphics which are individual to each of the scents. There are several scents to choose from as well which is also great option. I will continue to buy this product.

It's not very often that hockey stick wax smells like a deodorant. This wax has a very strong scent remniscent of men's aftershave or deodorant. When I was applying the wax on my stick, everyone around me was able to smell the waxand we had to open the window, because the fragrance was overpowering. Since it's so strong, I'm thinking you can probably wipe the wax on other pieces of your hockey equipment if it smells like a stinky gym locker. If you're sensitive to scent, you may want to put on latex gloves when applying the wax--I could smell the scent all over my hands after applying the wax.The wax comes in a circular shape (like a puck) inside a metal container. The container makes it easy to keep the wax in my equipment bag. When applied to the stick blade, I found the wax to be tacky. The wax wipes on thick and it leaves a white milky wax over black tape. The wax helped prevent snow buildups on the stick blade (for better puck control). I'm not sure if the tackiness of the wax helps with control or I'm not good enough to notice the difference.I've used wax from a candle stick on my sticks, but this Sniper Sauce is so much better. It's softer and applies quickly and evenly. Given its cost, I have to deduct one star.
